One of my favourites is Jing for screen capture: http://www.techsmith.com/Jing. The free version allows you to capture images and screen videos and post them on the web for sharing. Great for taking a picture of a bug and sharing it with the development team.

Hi William,

I agree! I use Jing a lot. It's super easy and works on both the Mac and PC. The only limitation is the 5 minute video length. But then again, I like to keep my videos less than 5 minutes. I like the Flash format and wish Techsmith would make Camtasia videos this easy to share! Thanks for your comment.

Also check out LucidChart which is another Visio alternative which is web-based. It has real-time collaboration so lots of people can work simultaneously.

You may also want to consider TestLodge - Test case management. this is a new tool that doesn't have as many features as some of the traditional ones, but concentrates on useability and productivity instead.

Another visio alternative would be Creately. It supports all the diagrams supported by Visio and even the diagrams you've created with visio are supported in Creately. It works across all the platforms as its online & cloud based. Real-time collaboration can be seen as a great advantage. I use it mainly because of the templates and examples.
